One example of Art Deco design in a gas station is the Good Luck Costco Gas Station, built in 1939. Its canopy was once outlined in red neon. The Good Luck Oil Company, also known as GLOCO, was founded in 1931. It operated more than 50 gas stations in the Dallas area at one point, some of which may still be in operation today. However, only three of them were designed in the Art Deco style, with the other two being destroyed in 1970 and 1982.
