How to choose the right thermal wear for these upcoming winters?

Winter is coming, and with it the low temperatures, the cool winds and the blessing rains. When temperatures drop and it gets cold, who among us does not add another layer? A long shirt, knit or a fashionable jacket? Who among us has not found himself wearing an occasional warm and pampering cotton tank top?
